This image is about Creation and the relationship between chaos and order, commotion and rest. While I imagine the picture of Creation to be full of color, and somewhat chaotic, I wanted to approach an image of the day of rest, the Sabbath, with tranquility.
Here, order operates in pockets, as memory plays a role in God’s reflection on Creation. I represent God as the strong but soft blue hands that have just finished molding.
